Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month

If you want to speak out about your neighborhood, Broadmoor, please join us for the Broadmoor Resident's Association meeting each month at Broadmoor Methodist Church (10230 Mollylea Drive). Our current board has become increasingly proactive and the beneficial results around our neighborhood should be obvious. We encourage all who live in Broadmoor to attend because our association needs your support. Resident's Association board members determine the best methods to improve the quality of our neighborhood, keep our property values high, attract good neighbors and keep Broadmoor a safe and beautiful place to live.

Let's continue this good work in 2010. As a Broadmoor homeowner or business owner you are a stakeholder in the future of Broadmoor. Please come and meet your neighbors and take your opportunity to lead; we encourage you to share your opinions.

Meetings will be held at 7 PM on the 3rd MONDAY of each month in the Adult Activities Building at the Broadmoor United Methodist Church located at Sharp Road and Mollylea Drive.

New Board of Directors for 2010

(1-3-10) - Our association by-laws call for the election of board members at the November annual meeting each year. This year, there were several board members whose two-year terms were expiring, and the following members agreed to serve again and were approved by the membership - Kim Ashford, Wayne Davis, Glenda Foster, Gary Littlefield, George Mermigas, Doug Olsen, Linda Pace, Greg Scott and Connor Uffman. John Perkins and Amy Uffman retired from the board and we want to thank them for many years of outstanding service! (Note: Glenda Foster subsequently resigned in February and we appreciate her service to the Association during her term in office.)

Several board members in the middle of two-year terms who are returning in 2010 are Steven Covington, Hallie Dozier, Steven Graham, David Guillory, Johnny Kaiser, Avery Sloan, Jason Stagg and Julie White. Alex Levy, Mark McDuff and Joe Rajnert chose not to return and we thank them for their dedication and excellent contributions during the past several years.

New board members nominated and elected are Lucas Banquer, Terry Bellon, Marcelle M. DeSoto, Jerry Graves, Vicki Johnston, Isiah Miller, Frank Mule, Blair Roussel, Rev. Nina Russell, Deana Searles and Joe Stuart. Welcome Aboard and thanks for volunteering to serve!

Our association needs additional volunteers on committees in order to do the work expected of us. There is much work to be done in 2010 and beyond and we need more people to help out! If you are interested, please call us at 926-9829 or email us for more information. You do not have to be a board member to serve on a committee. Committees include Advertising, Beautification, Communications, Community Relations, Safety & Security, Membership, Welcoming, and Zoning.
